Dear Clients,
On behalf of Viles & Beckman, we want to thank you for trusting our firm with your case. While most of Florida is in the process of shutting down, at Viles & Beckman we are in the process of doubling down. We are working harder, hiring additional staff, and moving full steam ahead.
Rest assured that we are all working full time to prosecute and move your cases forward, successfully and promptly. Our entire legal team is committed to continuing to do so for as long as this Coronavirus crisis lasts. We have been preparing for an emergency like this for long time, and have in place the ability to work remotely for as long as it takes.
We understand that this is a very uncertain time for many, not just because of your ongoing case and injuries, but because of the looming threat of COVID-19. We can assure you that Viles & Beckman has been here for 35 years, serving the Florida community and fighting for your rights, and we are not going anywhere.
As we transition to remote work spaces, the very best and most efficient way to communicate with us, and to assure the fastest response, is to send us an email. Questions via email allow a dedicated team member to access your file and give you the most accurate and complete response.
Pursuant to CDC guidelines, we are reducing the amount of physical interactions in our office. The health and wellbeing of both our clients and staff are of the utmost importance to us. As such, we have made some changes to our normal operations for the time being to protect everyone involved:
Effective immediately, and until it is safe to resume normal operations, we will be switching to an appointment-only module. We encourage clients to email our office to set an appointment if necessary. Virtual appointments can also be set via Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom.
If you have documents to drop off at our Florida legal office, you can call or email us to coordinate that. To reduce potential contagion, we encourage all documents to be sent via email, fax, or mail/Fedex if possible during this time.
If you do have an appointment in our office, we will ask that you wash your hands upon arrival and avoid handshaking or touching staff members. We have enhanced our sanitization throughout the office and will continue to sanitize all surfaces before and after every meeting.
If you are sick, exhibiting any signs of illness, think that you may have been exposed to COVID-19, or have recently traveled outside of the country, we ask that you do not come into the office. Please call our office and we will reschedule your appointment via video or by phone.
Again, Viles & Beckman is and will remain committed to providing your case with the utmost care and attention it deserves during this time. We are honored that you have chosen our firm to represent you and do not take that responsibility lightly. We will continue to fight hard for you during these difficult times to bring your case to a resolution.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (239) 334-3933. We look forward to continuing to serve you.
Sincerely,
Marcus W. Viles and Michael Beckman
